HuffPost Interviews Rupert Grint, Cheetah Chrome and CBGB Director Randall Miller

Earlier this afternoon, HuffPost Live hosted an interview via Google Hangout and Skype with Rupert, Cheetah Chrome and CBGB film director Randall Miller as guests.

Rupert joins the interview at 11:18 and discusses playing Cheetah Chrome on screen, an edgier role for his post-Potter career, and his interest in the punk music scene.

"The whole punk scene is something I’ve been quite passionate about, particularly when I was younger. I was really into all those bands: Talking Heads, Sex Pistols…"

Cheetah also talks about how he felt to have Rupert playing him in the film:

“I think he did a brilliant job… He had the voice dead on, and I was really, really happy and very honored to have him play me.”

When asked how he integrated the drug lifestyle surrounding CBGB into his portrayal of Cheetah, Rupert explains that he used a mumbly voice, to which Cheetah adds "that was my advice… the mumble."

"It was very helpful…" Rupert adds, "particularly with the American accent – I could hide that behind the mumbling."

Thanks to CBGB's PointBurst for the heads up on the interview!
