Rupert Grint to Carry the Olympic Flame

As we discovered in our recent "Grinterview," Rupert will be carrying the Olympic flame as it nears its final destination in London for the 2012 Summer Games.

On July 25th, the torch will pass through the London Boroughs of Harrow, Brent, Barnet and Enfield. It will arrive in Headstone Manor, Harrow, then visit Wembley Place, and will end in Alexandra Place, Wood Green, totaling a distance of 13.1 miles.  Joining Rupert will be decathlete Daley Thompson, 1966 World Cup hero George Banks and charity fundraiser Lloyd Scott, just to name a few.

Rupert has been slated to take the torch early in the afternoon, as it stops for lunch at Middlesex University in Hendon.

Are you as excited as we are to see Rupert with the famous Olympic torch? Stay tuned for more information!
