Rupert Grint Accepts "Best Newcomer" WhatsOnStage Award

Still buzzing from Rupert's "London's Best Newcomer" WhatsOnStage award, we now proudly present his acceptance speech.

Rupert, after being serenaded and having his hair stroked, said, "This play is the most fun I've ever had." He also went on to thank the producers and his fellow actors for "being so great."

After his acceptance, a red carpet interview revealed his feelings of being terrified of stage, the relief of winning the award, why he felt the role was right for him and even touched on his Harry Potter friends Dan and Emma.

Rupert ended by saying the play was very rewarding and would "definitely do it again." He thanked all the voters, attendees and supporters.
