Rupert Grint has become involved in a charity called Marie Curie Cancer Care. The annual movement within the non-profit organization is called The Great Daffodil Appeal and its goal is to spread awareness of the cancer center's care and the help they provide to cancer patients within their own homes. Rupert's aunt is also a volunteer for the organization.
Rupert was quoted by the organization saying, "I want to do my bit and help Marie Curie raise as much money as possible so that more people can be supported by their nurses at home during their final days."
Rupert has signed Daffodil t-shirts and is auctioning them on e-Bay to raise money for the charity. You can also see Rupert in the shirt on Marie Curie Cancer Care Facebook page. Throughout March, Facebook users and others are encouraged to sport the daffodil on their profiles to raise awareness of the care the nurses give to terminally-ill people.
