Fun Fact: Exactly three years ago yesterday, Driving Lessons had its first ever screening at the Dublin Film Festival, and Julie Walters was present for a Q&A!

Man! I can't believe it's been 3 years since DL was on the festival circuit! I just started working on the site a few months before that! It's crazy to even think about!
Lauren, I can't believe someone asked that question right in front of 2 of the 3 lead actors! As if the directors would say "Nah, we only hired them because some other actors turned the role down." I would've gasped too!
Oh boy! Secret's out and now everyone knows I have awful math skills :P
Any time, sweetheart!!
I can only hope that that question about were the three leads the actors they actually wanted, or did they have someone else in mind sounded better in her head, before she translated it into English... the poor woman... the whole audience gasped!
Also - time flies, and it was three years!
I think Driving Lessons had its first ever screening at the Dublin Film Festival THREE years ago ,in 2006,right?

Kait - yes, I know - I am going to hope that it originated in German as 'could you have hoped, in your wildest dreams, that you'd get them?'
Lost in Translation!
