Rupert Grint Talks Deathly Hallows, First Official Photo Released

Though Part 1 won't hit theaters until November, the first official image from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has been released via USA Today!

The photo features Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe, and Emma Watson on the lookout for Death Eaters as they walk the streets of London as Ron, Harry and Hermione.

Here's what Rupert had to say about the trio's adventures in the accompanying article:
"They're paranoid," says Grint. "It's quite a scary world because the Snatchers and Death Eaters are running around everywhere. Harry, Ron and Hermione are just camping out in random places, living rough, in regular clothes." Snatchers and Death Eaters are minions of the evil Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes).

Grint adds, grinning: "Me and Dan actually have some stubble." His facial hair served as a kind of invisibility cloak for the lanky, redheaded Grint, who went unrecognized by fans recently while on location in the Welsh countryside. Dubbed a "road movie" by producer David Heyman, Hallows was envisioned by director David Yates as more grounded in reality than the previous Potter movies.

The trio also sat down with BBC to discuss Deathly Hallows, with Rupert particularly discussing the mood on the film as well as his infamous kiss with Emma. You can see the full interview here!

Ron is my favorite character, next to Harry.

Have to say, I think the costume designers deserve an award for the way they've dressed Ron over the years. All that brown, green and orange (not forgetting maroon!) mismatched knitwear! Wonderful. I do like the dishevelled dragged-through-a-hedge-backwards look, I must say.

Mind you, I'd take the award away again for the way they've dressed Hermione, the ultimate geek girl, as though she's a character from High School effing Musical. Since the third film, anyway. All those tight tops and skinny jeans. She's not supposed to be a fashion plate, for heaven's sake!

Oh, and I cannot believe that anyone couldn't recognise Rupert from at least a mile away....
