(Post Updated 2/8) Thanks to Mara123 for linking us to the first images of Rupert on the set of Half-Blood Prince at Gloucester Cathedral! Filming has been taking place there since yesterday and is expected to continue until tomorrow.
The article states:
"Reporter Kate Nicholls managed to get a quick look behind the scenes - and saw crew busy making magical potions ready for the filming of the sixth book in the series - Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince."
"Two sets of crutches were also spotted arriving at the set - leading to speculation the scenes after Ron falls from his broom in a game of quidditch could be being filmed. "

Yeah the crutches were for two of the extras, two of the younger boys.
Yeah she met Rupert. (I KNOW!) and Dan and she got to takl to James quite a lot. SHe also saw Maggie Smith.
Yes, on the Friday the scene filmed was McGonagall telling Ron and Harry about Potions. But on the Thursday morning there were some scenes filmed without any of the extras, maybe the Unbreakable Vow scene, noone really knows for sure.

Brittenae: It's uncertain, but it's been said that it is the scene where McGonagall tells Harry and Ron they can take Potions for NEWTs. I have a feeling, though, they must've probably filmed just more than one scene during the few days they were there! :)

Yeh, those crutches were definitely not for him. My friend was an extra.
Oh my gosh, he was so much fitter in real life and he waved at me...twice.
I love him even more.

OMGI was there today. It was so amazing, when the cast left, Rupert had his window down & was waving at us!!the next car came & Daniel Radcliffe was waving. Best day of my life :D:D

wow rupert has a lookalike (in the first article it says so). somehow it seems to me that as soon as someone becomes famous, he has a lookalike too.
I agree that Rupert looked a bit tired but it's always great to see him!
The fan photo was great too - how I wish I could meet Rupert too! He's so cute and I'm sure he's super nice...
In the second article, I thought it was interesting and funny to read what they were eating ^^

According to a commenter over at Leaky, the crutches weren't for Ron! *phew* I really hope they're right! I don't think they need to add in anything extra like that. =/
Yes, the first thing I thought was "Wow, Ron Weasley with a diet Coke, wouldn´t this be great!" :D
Strange, there isn´t any scene of Ron falling from his broom on HBP!I hope they don´t change the poisoned scene for this, because for sure will give the image for a lot of "not Ron lovers"(and you know what I mean) that "Ron isn´t good enough even to fly on a broom!"

Wow, I'm so happy, I know it's really dumb but I really missed him, I mean it's been forever since we've seen a new Rupert anything, so it was great to see him. He looks great ( but I still like his hair longer) I hope they do put a lot of Ron scenes in, he's just everywhere in the book. Can't wait to see more.
