New Scene Added to HBP!
Many thanks to Snitchseeker for letting us know that a new scene involving The Burrow has been written especially for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
In an interview with the Australian Herald Sun, the film's producer David Barron has said:
"This was brought in because Jo (Rowling) was able throughout the quite lengthy book to keep dropping little snippets of what was happening in the outside world - there'd be people reading newspapers and talking about how somebody's parents had been killed, or somebody had been withdrawn from school because their parents didn't think it was safe.
And we're making aware that that the Muggle world is also experiencing these disasters, but thinks they are disasters rather than the work of Voldemort.
The book is peppered with those moments, but we couldn't do that quite so easily in the film.
So (the extra scene) comes in the middle of the film and it just reminds us the world is no longer a safe place. Even in what would normally be considered the safe haven of the Burrows, nobody's safe.
I think you'll like it. It's quite effective."
Hopefully this will mean even more screen time for Rupert!

Cate , yeah emma and dan are cute 2gether but I'm a bit scocked about that kiss between Dan and a man in the awards.
I mean it was a real scock after the rumours that Dan is dating Emma and then a guy kissed Dan.

Hey guys! The Rupert/Lily thing is just another rumor from another tabloid. Do not trust the tabloids, as 95% of what they write is false.
However, even if it is true, we wouldn't be posting anything about it in the news, as we're here to report on his career rather than his private life. :)

i don't know because the rumor between rupert and lily allen is strange because apparently she was at the ootp premiere like the articles said, but she has said in interviews that she only likes older men, which rupert is not.
i really hope that rupert is not with her because i always think of him as a down to earth guy who seems very nice and she on the other hand has kind of a bad reputation with alcohol and drugs. i dunno but i hope something comes out soon to confirm whatever. it's annoying not knowing what's true or not

The press really seems to have an infatuation with the HP stars lately!
Personally, I don't believe it. 99% of what tabloids publish aren't true. So unless you hear it straight from Rupert's mouth, take it with a grain of salt!
That being said, we unfortunately can't filter the bogus news stories that come through on the Wire.

Considering that The Burrow is one of the vital settings in HBP and much of DH, I'm guessing that this 'burning down The Burrow' plotline is a total fake!
As I'm sure you remember with the DH book, many of the so-called "plot leaks" were fakes, but they were deleted anyway. Barron makes it seem like the scene will be used to cover the backstory of the deaths mentioned throughout the book, so Burrow burning seems really unlikely!

Well i like Rupert ALOT!. and i cant wait to meet him. i hope he does well in his career of acting and stuff like that. i really think the extra scene is a good effect and will help the people who dont read the books have a better understanding for what going on.

Hmmm.. it looks like they've just added in the scene to talk about the numerous deaths and such that are mentioned in a more random fashion in the book, Hopefully, no plot bunnies will be murdered in the making of this scene!
