Not long ago, we reported that AOL Moviefone was looking for your questions for Rupert Grint and his co-stars! After receiving over 4,000 questions, Moviefone asked the best of them!
Including this answer given when asked if he ever search for himself on Google:
"Not really. I know of the sites and stuff. Yeah, it's quite weird to kind of think about that ... and the fanbase for these books and films is quite- the Potter fans are quite intense."

Rupert Grint talks Fans and Spongebob on BBC Radio 2
Thanks to the lovely Dee, we've learned that Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe, and Jessie Cave were recently guests on Claudia Winkleman's Arts Show on BBC Radio 2!Rupert talked to Claudia's sidekick Colin about the relationships between Ron and Lavender as well as how some "Lavender" characteristics tend to appear in enthusiastic fans!
There's also some talk about the gifts fans like to give him:
"Mainly pyjamas, weirdly. Also, Spongebob Squarepants is quite familiar as well. I think I said years ago I liked the show and I just get merchandise in every shape and form of Spongebob."
When asked what other "requests" for gifts he may have, Rupert replied "I'm quite happy with Spongebob, really."
Hopefully, Rupert was not too fatigued by the Spongebob golf ball we gave him at the 2007 Order of the Phoenix premiere!

Rupert Grint on Popcorn with Peter Travers, MTV Harry Potter Montage
With just a few hours before the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, a new interview with Rupert Grint on Popcorn with Peter Travers has sprung up online!
A short clip of the interview shows Rupert talking about the media's favorite subject, swine flu, once again.

Rupert to be on Heart Breakfast Radio Show
In addition to tomorrow's day long Harry Potter-fest on BBC Radio 1, it would also seem Rupert will have an interview airing on the Heart Breakfast radio show.
Heart Breakfast with Matt and Dani airs between 6 and 10am in Exeter and East Devon.

Rupert's HP audition tape to be released with Socerer's Stone Collector's Edition!

Thanks so much, Mina!For those of you who have been dying to see Rupert's Harry Potter Newsround Audition tape: fear not, you'll soon be able to get your hands on it!
In an exclusive chat with SnitchSeeker at the LA Times's Q & A with Potter producer David Heyman, which took place last evening in Los Angeles, he revealed that Rupert's tape is set to be released in the DVD Collector's Edition of Sorcerer's Stone!
Also, David recalled Rupert's reaction to the very first Potter press conference (which took place almost nine years ago!), SnitchSeeker describes:
...David vividly recalled how scared and nervous Dan was during the press conference, while Rupert was chatty and far more confident. He praised Rupert for his uniqueness and eccentric ways (pointing out his odd choice of purchases, including the ice cream van and hovercraft), and that he has remained unchanged, and very funny and sweet from the beginning until now.

Note: According to numerous Tweets, it would seem that Rupert's appearance on Fuse's Number 1 Countdown aired this evening. Unfortunately, we were unable to watch and capture video so if anyone can send it in, please do!

Rupert on Radio 1: Update
As we reported last week; Rupert is set to appear in a recorded segment on Radio 1 this Wednesday (15th July) as part of the Scott Mills show. Sometime between 4 - 6pm GMT, he will take part in the show's brand new quiz (which, would you believe, is a one off!) called Hogwarts Occurring.
Thanks to Sue for emailing and letting us know that Radio 1 have now posted their program schedule for that day and, of particular interest, notes that Edith Bowman will be live on the set of Deathly Hallows at 1pm GMT where we strongly suspect that a brand new interview with the trio will take place!
You can listen to the shows live on the Radio 1 website or wait a little longer and we'll post it up here right after the shows air! Yay for Harry Potter Day!

Half-Blood Prince Junket Interviews
Some new video interviews from the recent press junkets in London and New York are now online!
First up is a funny discussion with T4 where Rupert says (jokingly, we're assuming...) he would give the Queen a love potion and then proceeds to ace the T4 pop culture quiz! Watch it here. Thanks SS.

He always has been and he balances the dramatic stuff as well wonderfully but the scene on the broomstick in Quidditch which is like something out of Buster Keaton or something, it's absolutely brilliant and I was belly laughing. It was wonderful."

Gallery Update: Staff Favourites!
As we continue to add more and more pictures from the London and New York Potter festivities, here are a couple of our favourites so far:
The first is an image from an appearance Rupert made, whilst in NYC, at the Pepsi Bull Run Launch Party (which you can see here) and the second is from the - very soggy - wet carpet in London and features Rupert giving himself a good shake off (which you can see here)!! Lastly is a picture taken from the set of his appearance on the US TV Talk Show "Fuse" - which you can see here.

Update: Tween magazine J-14 has put up some excerpts from interviews it recently conducted with Rupert and his co-stars, Dan Radcilffe and Emma Watson. Read them here and here. One amusing new tidbit of info comes from Dan who shares that during breaks in filming on set: "All me and Rupert do really is either sit around and read or watch films or DVDs or really bad English daytime TV. It's terrible!"
