RGN's Interview with Rupert for Cherrybomb
In a bit of sad news, our interview with Rupert was delayed and interviews with Kimberley Nixon, Glenn Leyburn and Lisa Barros d’Sa which we had scheduled for today were cancelled due to the unsavory behaviors of another fansite toward Rupert at yesterday’s premiere.
Though our girls didn’t get a chance to talk to him on the red carpet yesterday, Lorena and Jen thankfully got to interview Rupert today (alongside another interviewer)! Have a listen!

UPDATE: What trailer!? We are thrilled to bring to everyone another interview that was conducted earlier today by SpiegelTV with Rupert Grint and Kimberley Nixon. We'd like to note that Lorena's review is completely spoiler ridden. If you don't want to know what happens in the movie - don't read it. We apologise for not noting this sooner, but our brains were just about melted by the late hour in which we posted it last evening.

Update: The Berliner Morgenpost newspaper has a blow by blow description of today's red carpet events and even though they misspell her name, they have a quote from our very own Lorena! Check it out here!

Rupert Arrives for World Premiere of Cherrybomb (UPDATED x 2!)
Well he's arrived!
Staffers Lorena and Jen have told us that there were lots and lots and lots of fans waiting (im)patiently outside the Babylon theate for Rupert to arrive. Once he did, the place went absolutely wild! Security guards had to hold up the barriers, those crazy fans!
Rupert then proceeded to spent time signing autographs and posing for photos with the fans. Of course, we'll have our photos up for you right after the film's premiere!
And, for those who are interested (which we think would be you all!) he was dressed in a black jacket, jeans, one of his trademark t-shirts and his well loved US flag converse!
Update: Well, Lorena's just informed us that the film and Q&A session have ended...and do we have a LOT in store for you! We'll have a full recording of the Q&A session up for you all very shortly, as well as video clips, as well as pictures...
On a side note, Lorena has noted that the film "was unlike anything we've ever seen", Rupert "played his part to perfection" and the fight scene, she noted, was "very, very intense". Is anyone else dying to read her review?!

First Pictures of Babylon!
Lorena and Jen have sent along two pictures of a desolate-looking Babylon cinema - where the premiere for Cherrybomb will take place in just two hours time!
We can't wait to see how different it looks, as it fills up with fans and people, now that the time to the premiere is running out!
Oh and would you look at that...there's a red carpet... ;-)
Already newspapers in Berlin are picking up on Rupert's arrival in the city for Cherrybomb. Morgenpost.de says:
"He is the secret star at the Berlinale; the British actor Rupert Grint, better known as Ron Weasley from the Harry Potter films. Yesterday afternoon, he flew to Berlin from London. Last year, Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan caused such a stir that a state of emergency care was called for during the Berlinale. Similar scenes and ecstatic fans are expected today, when Rupert Grint's new film"Cherrybomb" is screening at the Babylon at 14.30. Grint came yesterday in the same plane from London as Christopher Lee, who is apparently no longer walking well and is in a wheelchair. After refueling the aircraft returned to take Kate Winslet back to London."

Our Cherrybomb Coverage Officially Begins!
It's just about 7.30am here in Europe, and we've already added the first live update to our berlinale page.
As news streams in today, in addition to our main news reporting, we will be adding a collection of press articles, pictures and interviews to the page (plus Lorena and Jen's regular updates!) - so it really is the one to watch!
The girls will be bringing you a blow-by-blow account (literally) of Cherrybomb's storyline, pictures, audio and full coverage from the screening and cast Q&A session and a pre-interview chat tonight to collect your questions for tomorrow (have you left yours on the wall yet?). What a day we have planned for you!
Stay tuned for more news from Berlin, as it happens!

Berlin Update
Contrary to reports on other websites, RGN can confirm that there will (unfortunately) be no red carpet event for tomorrow's world premiere of Cherrybomb (we've taken it to mean "at all" but know for sure that Rupert won't be interviewing there). He'll only be present and conducting interviews for the cast Q&A session after Sunday's screening and on Monday's press meetings.
This makes it seem quite likely to us that there will be hardly any (if any at all) official photo opportunities during his stay in Berlin.
We'll keep you posted as we find out more...
P.s. Have you left a question suggestion for our Rupert interview on the wall yet?

New Half-Blood Prince Clips and Interviews in Theatres
Thanks to the lovely Mr. Sims for letting us know that Regal Theatres are now showing new HBP clips and interviews prior to most of their movies (Andrew has noted Coraline and Pink Panther for certain).
He says:
"Some of the footage has already been seen in the trailers, but there were several new and/or extended clips including: Bellatrix on top of a table in the Great Hall throwing a spell (extended), Hermione throwing birds at Ron, Hermione's jealousy of Ron and Lavender ("Excuse me, I have to go vomit"), Dumbledore levitating items in the Dursley house, a couple of new lines from Dumbledore, new shots of the Inferi, and the "She Thinks You're the Chosen One" scene (extended).
Spread in between the new clips were also new, short interviews with Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, and producer David Heyman.."
You can check the new footage out for yourself by seeing a movie at a Regal Theatre, getting there nice and early to catch the "First Look" videos which showcase before the trailers.

RGN to Interview Rupert for Cherrybomb in Berlin!
We are delighted to announce that we will be sitting down for a Cherrybomb-related chat with Rupert, Kimberley and the film's directors Glenn Leyburn and Lisa Barros D'sa on Monday. We will also be bringing you a full film review, pictures and more on Sunday after Cherrybomb's world premiere.
