Rupert's New Film: Cherrybomb
RG.net can exclusively reveal that Rupert is currently working on a new movie titled Cherrybomb.
Set in Belfast, the plot is described to be a "a gritty thriller about two teenagers who get into trouble when they both fall for a beautiful new girl in town."
The film is currently in production and filming is expected to end in early August, scheduled for release in 2009. Check out the IMDB page for the film here.
Update: More information regarding the film is beginning to unearth! IMDb has updated to list two possible costars: Kimberely Nixon and Robert Sheehan. Variety also mentioned Cherrybomb in an article back in February as did the Northern Ireland Screen. "The film follows teenagers Luke, Malachy and Michelle as they embark on a wild weekend of drink, drugs, shop-lifting and stealing cars. But what starts out as a game turns deadly serious when the three discover that they can’t get off the wild ride they’ve set in motion."

wow, I remember you guys mentioned a while back that his agent said Rupert was looking into other projects after the film. This is so great for him. I love coming to this site and hearing about his accomplishments. So many people on other sites focus on H.P and Ron. I can't wait for the movie to come out, I think it'll be really good for him. He'll probably get the girl in the movie *sobs* . I love the title as well, since it reminds me of him ( cherrybomb he, he ) Congrats Rupe!!

OMG!! I can't believe it!! I can't believe it!! ^^ Why is it that we haven't heard anything of this before!! =D What a nice surprise!! ^^ And I really hope this film makes it to Spain, not like Driving Lessons... =( And it's a thriller, something we have never seen Rupert in!! =D I really can't wait!! ^^

yay i love rupert so much & just recently watched driving lessons on youtube .. i thought it was extremely funny ! it was really out of his normal character as ron but thats great. im happy that he has been looking past harry potter for awhile
