Why I selected these bands...

Pulp

Jarvis Cocker of Pulp appears in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire as The Weird Sisters' lead singer, Myron Wagtail. Jarvis Cocker also voices the character of Petey in Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr. Fox, scored by Alexandre Desplat, who scored Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Another member of Pulp, Steve Mackey, also appears in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire as the Weird Sisters' bass player Donaghan Tremlett. And finally, in 2005, Rupert Grint shared an iTunes playlist that included the track "Common People" by Pulp.
